Sarah Maclean Bicknell

To speak of myself and what I do is difficult for me to put into words… I listen and something arises in the room. Whether it is in teaching, sharing, conducting ceremony, or telling a story, it comes out of the listening between us. I walk now into my elder years with no great ideas that I do anything. I am constantly in awe of how we remember in the big remembering, our collective and ancient wisdom. I witness time after time, wisdom coming through the listening between us. It is in this relationship that the magic begins… Our creator knows who we all are and the root of all our dissatisfaction, resistances, and subsequent dis-ease. It is our Creator that knows how to get us to our healing and our remembering. I help to keep you company as you step aside to allow your path unfold at your feet. My daily prayer is to be and do what is at hand… To give thanks and cherish the life that is on loan to me from our Mother. To be sincere in my humanness and give support and kindness where I can.

    Testimonials

“I've moved into a new sense of being, and have seen the entire community move as a whole into new connection, maturity, and humaneness... Sometimes spiritual growth feels like climbing an unknown mountain, and it is deeply reassuring to work with a teacher who has climbed these intimidating paths, and returned to help the rest of us find our way. ”

“Her work, which stems from the Lakota ceremonial traditions and Celtic traditions, is of great and resonating magnitude. Based in Shamanic rituals, she uses sounds and smoke as a large part of her healing. Her belief is that we as humans have a 1st skin. When trauma happens on any level, that skin gets broken. Sarah’s work restores the missing pieces to help Spirit and eternal skin become whole again. ”
