Community Dreaming Course | 12 Nights Of Dreaming

Beginning Nov 28th ~ Calls Monday Nights 6:00pm-8:00pm PT

This year we are opening up Sarah’s practice of community dreaming in preparation for the 12 nights of dreaming. This is open to those that have taken The Dreamer and The Messenger or have a strong personal dream practice.

Sarah shares about the 12 Nights of Dreaming:

Over the years many people have been interested and curious about what I refer to as my 12 nights of dreaming, a personal practice I have as we move between the month of December and enter into January of each year.

In the early eighties, I had the privilege of being part of a dream circle in England that held a Druid cosmology as their practice of dreaming.  According to this bardic tradition, “if one recorded one’s dreams between the winter solstice and Epiphany (the 6th of January), much would be revealed as to how to navigate the next 12 months in the way of lessons, health, big events, and warnings. Each night was seen as a revealing riddle to be teased out through poetry and song. So in the dark of the year, we get to peer into what is heading our way so that our lives can begin to prepare the way for the incoming new cycle.

I have continued this practice and have found I center it more on poetry. In the circle I attended all those years ago,  I heard the song of the 12 nights. It is a beautiful thing to sing the long dream that evolves out of the dreaming. May those who entered in the song find the power of singing the dreaming words.

This practice helps me focus on what is arising to be taught and shared, and what personal help is available for my continued good health, and soul evolution. This practice feeds me with creative input and alternative perspectives for all that can arise to potentially disrupt my life in the coming 12 cycles of the sun. I feel that each year I have been gifted with information and knowledge. The rise and fall of the year is found in the dreaming. It shows me the rhythms of how well this year will breathe and what resources from the dreamworld and from Nature are available for me and others. Who are my helpers this year and what is the working theme of 2023. I find the calm through thread here, supporting me in all the dark chaos that is swirling around as we enter 2023.

Community Dreaming Classes – How it will work

Grandmother Sarah will teach community dreaming, Monday Nov 28th, Dec 5th, and Dec 12th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm PT.

On Monday Dec 19th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm PT, Arbor Legacy Dream Facilitator, Seth Pardo, will welcome the dreamers and create smaller cohort dream groups for all that wish to incubate for 12 nights of dreaming.

Everyone will gather with the larger community to celebrate the Winter Solstice with a Ceremony on the night of December 20th, 5:30pm – 6:30pm PT. A prayer will be given at that time to open the gates for the dreamers.

After incubating for the 12 nights, each small cohort of dreamers will meet right after Jan 6th at a time that works for them to debrief in the way of the December teachings.

Everyone will then reconvene with Seth, Monday January 16th 6:00pm PT- 8:00pm PT to share and collect the larger themes throughout the groups.

Sarah will give a recount of her personal 12 nights of dreaming on the Zoom Community call in January.
