Dear Friends and Family,

Already we are here approaching midsummer. The day when the sun shines the longest. I am calling us and our ancestors to celebrate life together. To intend together and call on mercy in the midst of all that we are experiencing together, in our current dream of the world. Our ancestors around the Northern Hemisphere came together to celebrate the balance of male and female, the sacred marriage, and the power of equilibrium at this sacred time when the sun apparently stood still.

My ancestors called it Litha (Celtic) and more of us know it as Summer Solstice. Solstice comes from the Roman words of sol, sun, and sistere meaning standstill. One unified pause and breath together before the sun appears to head south. Together let us remember who we have always been and honor the power of creativity and generosity that we have inherited within our human family and within the blessing of our First Mother. Let us come together in our inspired selves to sing, dance, and celebrate together.
