A Winter Solstice Celebration
Join Akhila, Anne, Kat and Leslie of the Arbor Legacy program, along with community, for a Celebration of the Return of the Light!
This celebration and ceremony is open to all on the Village Green and will be held on:
Friday, December 22nd at 5:30pm PT
We will be celebrating this season as an opportunity to turn inward, to be with the darkness and practice “wintering,” and then cultivating the light in ourselves, turning it outward towards our communities and to the greater world.
During our time together we will, purify, open the directions and come together for a community ritual and guided meditation, then share in an ancestral foods/feast. All of this was co-created by folks in the Arbor Legacy program as well as the Village Green Community. We hope to see you there!
Please bring with you:
- 3 candles
- Matches or a lighter
- A bowl of water, salt, anything you’re called to put on your winter altars
- Feast food.
